Scope

The meeting will start on Sunday, February 4, 2018 and will end on Thursday, February 8, 2018.

The meeting is intended to bring together scientist of different central European countries at one place to discuss their recent results. A lot of experience in photochemistry will be present to give everybody the chance for interesting scientific exchange. Additionally scientists from other countries inside and outside of Europe are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting for a truly international knowledge exchange.

Key countries this time are: (preliminary)
Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Switzerland (alphabetical order)
Conference language is English.

A very important point is to encourage young scientists and students to attend the meeting, too. Both will only have to pay a reduced conference fee. A limited number of travel grants will be available. Please contact your local member of the committee or the local coordinator concerning the respective conditions. See in the contact section for addresses.

There will be a set of plenary lectures and short talks during the sessions. A main focus of the meeting will be the poster sessions. There will be one each evening after dinner (buffet) with (almost) open end.

Topics covered by the meeting are:
organic photochemistry
inorganic photochemistry
theoretical photochemistry
applied photochemistry
photophysics
spectroscopy
kinetics of photochemical reactions
mechanisms of photochemical reactions
energy conversion
ultrafast processes

The two sessions (morning and evening) are organized in a way that all participants will be together in the Congress Centre of Bad Hofgastein. Therefore the buffet in the evening is included in the conference fee for all attendees.
