Scope

The meeting will start on Sunday. February 9, 2020 and will end on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

The meeting is intended to bring together scientist of different European countries at one place to discuss their results. A lot of experience in photochemistry will be present to give everybody the chance for interesting scientific exchange. Additionally scientists from countries outside of Europe are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting for a truly international knowledge exchange.

Key countries:
Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland (alphabetic order).

Conference language is English.

A very important point is to encourage young scientists and students to attend the meeting, too. Participants of both groups have a strongly reduced fee. A limited number of travel grants for students and young researcher from less favored regions are available. Please contact the local organizer for details (see "Contact" section).

There will be a set of plenary lectures and short talks during the sessions. A main focus of the meeting are the poster sessions in the evening. There will one each evening after dinner (buffet) with almost open end. This time can be used for scientific discussions, too.

Topics covered by the meeting:

organic photochemistry
inorganic photochemistry
theoretical photochemistry
applied photochemistry
photophysics
spectroscopy
kinetics of photochemical reactions
mechanisms of photochemical reactions
energy conversion
ultrafast processes

The two sessions (morning and evening) are organized in a way that all participants will be together in the Congress Center of Bad Hofgastein. Therefore the buffet in the evening is included in the conference fee for all attendees.
